Fixed Income Calculation Server now available

Summit, NJ, April 16, 1999: TIPS, Inc. announces the availability of the Web's Fixed Income Calculator, www.ficalc.com. The Calculator can be used to perform industry-standard fixed income calculations in any browser window. Additionally, web site developers can access the Calculator with their own data, and the calculation results can be printed, saved, or emailed to others.

TIPS has developed the Calculator to demonstrate the power of our Fixed Income Calculations Server, which can be used by any Internet or intranet application to perform industry-standard fixed income calculations. The published interface to the Calculator is easy to use, and allows your own web pages to quickly and seamlessly perform the most common fixed income calculations, including price, yield, convexity, duration, cash flows, etc., for U.S. Treasuries, Agencies, Municipals and Corporates, as well as Euro securities.

While the Calculator is powerful, it demonstrates just a handful of the calculations available with the Fixed Income Calculations Server. The Server gives the Internet and intranet web programmer access to our Standard Securities Calculations Software Library, which has over 800 routines to calculate analytics for virtually any fixed income security in the world. The Library is available in C, FORTRAN or COBOL, and provides identical results on over 20 platforms and environments from mainframes to PCs.
