period_direction

period_direction (variable)

Indicates in which direction the periods should be counted

Declared as: int

Description: Indicates in which direction the number of periods between 2 dates should be counted. This affects the calculation of the remaining fractional part.

Valid values: 
  Can contain one of the following values:
          1 = count periods forwards from earlier date
         -1 = count periods backwards from later date
