next_centurynext_century (variable)
A year used to determine the century of a YYMMDD date

Description:
Used to determine the century for a date having a 2 digit year and converting it into a 4 digit year. next_century is the cutoff year to decide if the year is 19YY or 20YY. A 2 digit year less than or equal to next_century is returned as 20YY; otherwise, the year is returned as 19YY.
Valid values:
Any legitimate 2 digit integer, which is used to represent a year.
